Will.I.am wants Cheryl over for Easter.
CHERYL COLE has reportedly been asked by Will.i.am to fly to Los Angles for a “secret date”. Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am has tried to be the night in shining armour for Cheryl Cole since she split from her love rat husband Ashley Cole and has been her got to guy when she has needed a shoulder to cry on, and now wants her to spend Easter weekend with him and his family.
A source said: “He has asked Cheryl to fly out to Los Angeles for a secret date with him over Easter. He’s having a big family get-together and he wants her to be there.”The 35-year-old pop star has worked with Cheryl, 26, on many occasions, first duetting with her on his 2008 single Heartbreaker. He then went on to co-write and produce most of her debut solo album 3 Words, which was released last year.
Cheryl has previously praised Will.i.am for being a great artist and a good friend. She said: "I would work with Will for the rest of my career if I could. He's absolutely inspiring, fantastic, futuristic, and creative; he's everything that you would want from a producer and also from a person."
Despite their working relationship, friends of Cheryl say there is a spark between the pair. A source added: “He wants to look after her and treat her. He’s a really romantic guy who wants to take her out for dinner and cook for her.
“They’ve got loads in common, they’re from similar backgrounds and have similar family values.”
However, Cheryl is said to be keen on taking her relations with the star slowly. The source added: “As much as Cheryl loves his support she is going into this with her eyes wide open. It will be a very slow process but there is definitely something there.”
